Come hang out with us! Our youth group meets weekly with multiple offerings for every type of student.
- Belmont UMY Fellowship (UMYF) – 5:30-7:30 on Sunday nights
- Our main event of the week! A time of fellowship over dinner with a usually silly game, followed by a lesson for the whole group before we split into age-based small groups for deeper discussion and discipleship.
- High school Bible study – 7-8:30 on Wednesday nights
- A time for our older students who want to dive deeper into the Bible and grow their scripture reading skills.
- Open Door Singers – 4:30-5:30 on Sundays
- Our youth choir, made for students who love to sing as well as those who’ve never done it before!
- Wesley Ringers – 3:30-4:30 on Sundays
- If you’ve ever wanted to be part of a handbell choir, this group is for you! It’s a fun opportunity to learn a new instrument, work as a team, and make music!
- Retreats & Summer Trips
- Appalachia Service Project is our high school mission trip, where we go to grow in faith, serve the people of Appalachia, and make homes warmer, safer, and drier. This trip typically happens during the last week of June/first week of July, and is open to students entering 9th grade through graduated seniors.
- Open Door Singers Choir Tour is our annual trip for our youth choir! Locations change each year, but we always get to explore somewhere new, build relationships, share God’s love through music, and have fun! In order to attend the trip, students must be committed members of our youth choir.
Winter Retreat is our annual weekend of discipleship, faith formation, and fellowship. This happens every President’s weekend at Lakeshore Camp, a beautiful UMC center on Kentucky Lake. It is a fun, cozy, relaxed weekend away with lots of down time, games, worship, and friends!
